It is about time that we put down on paper our aims and missions from our new lifestyle, for the past few months we have been planning and re-planning our aims and objectives - so, below are our aims.

We will adhere to these as closely as we can, should we fail, we will naturally let you know!

SELF SUFFICIENCY

A) Self sufficiency - To grow / catch / hunt as much of our own food as we can.
B) A complete freedom from corporate utilities, no electricity, water or internet providers.

ECOLOGICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL

C) To only use local products / British products where ever possible.
D) Not to contribute to landfill - all packaging and items to be compostable / recyclable.
E) All items in the home to be made of natural products - No plastic or man made fibers.

LIVING HISTORY

F) To live a lifestyle that represents life of a pre-1900 mill worker.

How long have you given to achieve this? We live in spain , 6 years on we are just beginning to achieve your goals. It is such a great feeling to know we are free of bills and working for us. I wish you luck .

Congrats to you - it is an awesome feeling to achieve self security! The cottage will take a little time to be renovated, so we are aiming to be in by the end of this year, and hope to be self reliant food wise within two years.

Thank you for your interest ;)
