Ron was sleeping a lot which gave me time to catch up on my blogs. He was sleeping so much, however, that I had to wake him up for an afternoon feed! My body told me that the baby was hungry and, sure thing - the baby was ravenous! Parenting: In tune with my baby's needs

The baby woke up feeling extremely happy and rewarded me with his beautiful smile, stretching from ear to ear! But the day took a turn for the worse when he became a fussy eater, potentially showing signs of reflux, and worse still when we were hit by the loud symptoms of Ron's first cognitive leap! Milestone: Wide happy smile
Milestone: First cognitive leap Parenting: White noise saves the night It is Ron's first Halloween, but we didn't make a big deal out of it - we carved a pumpkin and watched scary videos. Milestone: Baby noises
Parenting: Capturing moments for the future If you had asked me a couple of weeks ago what made me truly happy I may have said a nice hot bath, good music, a nice meal. . . And whilst those things are still great, nothing makes me happier than hearing burps, farts and poops! Motherhood has really scrambled my brain! Parenting: First aid questions
Lesson Learned: Front facing swim in the bath! Left-over pregnancy hormones seem to be causing some trouble for my baby's skin, but they are also making me feel irritated and overwhelmed! Parenting: Stressed by change!
Ron is 3 weeks old today and no longer looks or feels like a tiny baby! We no call him our "Little Ronnie" and yet there are still so many changes to come, to experience and to record in this blog! Parenting: Breast milk works wonders
My mind is still in "folding" mode as I tidy up and evaluate my nappy options and then order more nappy cover wraps. This is what Saturday afternoons are made for! Parenting: We need more nappy covers
